Audio 音频嵌入式软件应用工程师 （欧美公司） The company is the global leader in Audio IC products that are widely used in smartphone, tablet and PC Job Title: Senior Software Applications Engineer Job Description The Applications Engineer will provide expert technical support helping our customers successfully integrate the audio product into mobile phones and PCs. This position will have a great impact on the overall success of the company. The successful candidate should be willing to travel to customer sites around the world about 25% of the time. Major Responsibilities ·Assisting customers with the integration of the Audio products into their systems involving embedded DSP software and ICs ·Host driver integration of Audio IC products into various OSs ·Debug embedded system integration issues on hardware platforms ·Develop tools and scripts for integration unit and stress testing ·Define and implement various use-case profiles into host driver platforms ·Create application notes and integration guides Experience, Skills and Education Required ·Excellent communication skills in English ·Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented ·Working knowledge of Linux kernel functionality and ALSA subsystems ·Extensive experience in C code software development ·Ability to use standard lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit emulators ·Ability to understand, summarize and communicate customer needs, requirements, issues, etc. ·BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree Experience, Skills and Education Desired ·Experience working with SLIMbus ·Experience in cellular wireless industry (mobile handsets, PND, or tablets) ·Experience with mobile applications processors (Nvidia Tegra, TI OMAP, Qualcomm, etc…) ·Experience with consumer codec chipsets (Cirrus Logic, Wolfson, TI) ·Audio expertise including CODECs, AEC, and noise reduction ·Experience developing Windows GUI applications ·10+ years of industry experience related to mobile handset & audio related ·MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree
