Job Purpose To be in charge of product development of electrical circuit for Wacom branded products based on knowledge, insight and technical skills acquired through the experiences as electronics engineer. Also to be required for leading multiple product design projects and contributing to those activities. Key Responsibilities: Feasibility study, design and development, and evaluation of electrical circuit design, PCB, system design, network related design and electric components which are loaded on Wacom branded products Create and maintain full sets of EE files that transfer design to mass production Laboratory maintenance Collaboration and engineering guidance with/for ODM partners Failure analysis and proposal of problem solving also required Self-accomplishment without supervisor’s support is required for routine jobs. To maintain high product development quality, which meets the agreed level with supervisor, is also the key required factor regarding all the product development projects responsible for. Qualifications: Over 5-year working experience as electronics engineer for the product development of finished goods (especially, experiences for consumer AV/IT products is preferable) Working experiences as a tam member of product development projects (Experiences of leading teams preferable) Product development for electrical circuit Ability of electrical circuit design by using IC or discrete components, which meets the requirement defined by original product specifications Ability to sort out anticipated obstacles (i.e. EMI, ESD countermeasures) Ability to evaluate above product development results (incl. the establishment of evaluation method itself) Ability to design logical circuits by using FPGA etc. Knowledge or experiences or for firmware/embedded software development Ability to use circuit optimization simulator Have active mind and attitude to positively acknowledge the subjects by himself/herself and try to find out the solutions Logical thinking or problem solving skill Data analysis, evaluation, reasoning of highly probable hypothesis Proposal of concrete solutions along with those hypotheses Creative thinking, attitude to be out of the box, and have strong interest in new technologies or IT trends Business level English communication skill Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills to work with internal engineers and staffs, project managers, senior managements and other external stakeholders such as ODM/EMS partners or component suppliers
